1. Bhangarh Fort

Bhangarh Fort, located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, India, is often referred to as the most haunted place in the country.It gained a reputation for being cre­epy because of a scary myth, and the­ most unsettling part is the supposed Fe­male Ghost and now has a reputation of being a haunted fort in Rajasthan.

 Bhangarh fort haunted story unfolds with a Ghost Woman, Singhia who was a magician used his dark magic to win the loves of the Princess Ratnavati. When she learnt about  this, she poured a potion over a boulder that crushed him. Singhia made sure to curse the fort before his demise. People who want  to visit the shadowy parts of Bhangarh fort report strange noises. They hear things like­ steps in the distance and whispers in the wind. There’s a story that warns people against being in the fort after the sunsets.

Spooky incidents: The haunted fort is the spot for encountering incidents like a woman crying for help, and the clinking sound of the bangles and etc.

2. Kuldhara Village

Kuldhara, approximately 12.4 miles west from Jaisalmer, became vacated as in late nineteenth-century .

The village’s haunting history began in 1825. It is when all of the residents in 83 nearby villages, fled in the middle of the night, leaving behind an unbreakable curse that no one would ever be able to live there again.

Spooky incidence: This haunted place of Rajasthan was checked by the paranormal society of New Delhi. Most of the stories that people say  and hear is true. The ghost-box have recorded voices of the dead village people. There were also find some footprints of the children on the mud.

3. Nahargarh Fort

This Fort is positioned on the border of Aravalli Range, with a view of Jaipur’s pink city. Its fort’s walls were erected to cut the royal family off from the rest of the globe. The opulence of the castle cannot conceal the spookiness from one of Rajasthan’s most haunted locations. Sawai Raja Man Singh constructed the castle together with Amer Fort & Jaigarh Fort. This emperor was so devoted to the castle which he constructed for his lovely queens and even after their death. The Nahargarh Fort remains possessed by his spirit.

Spooky incident: It is said that the owner of that organization was found dead mysteriously in his house.

4. Rana Kumbha Palace

This place located inside the Chittorgarh Fort, Rana Kumbha’s Palace has a scary past. There has  a history dating back to the 14th-century battle between the Sultan of Delhi, Allaudin Khilji, and the Maharaja of Mewar Kingdom, Rana Rattan Singh.

According to legend, when Allaudin Khilji defeated Rana Ratan Singh on the battlefield and attacked the palace, Rani Padmini and  her 700 female followers performed the act of Jauhar to protect their honour. Even after centuries, tourists visiting this palace have heard the screams of women and heard voices calling out for help.

Spooky incident: Around a year back a group of friends stayed back one night at the palace to observe if there were any paranormal activities happening or not. At the time of exploring , one of them heard a voice asking for help.  they saw a lady standing  with a burnt face!

5. NH-79 Near Dudu Village

NH-79 highway  of Dudu Village called the “lane that begs for blood,” is one of Rajasthan’s top haunted locations. The  tale stems from a period when  child marriage was common in the nation. A 5-day old baby girl was forced to get married to a 3-year-old boy from Dudu village in Rajasthan.

The little girl’s mom, on the other hand, has been against the marriage and rushed to the road for assistance. There she with her baby was struck by a car. They both  died on the highway, and the tales is that their souls haunt the highway.

Spooky incident: While driving down the Ajmer-Udaipur highway, three friends encountered the ghost of a lady carrying a baby in her arms. She sat at the back seat and guided them out of the village. Thinking it might be a nightmare, the friends took it lightly but the incident lasted for more than 15 minutes which still haunts them!

6. Brij Raj Bhavan

This  mansion, now one of the most  heritage hotel is haunted by the ghost of an English soldier. As much as it looks beautiful from the outside, the place is considered to be one of the many haunted places in Rajasthan. History says that  the Major Burton, an employee of the East India Company was killed along with his family by Indian militants at the Brij Raj Bhavan. The locals say that the spirit of Major Burton is present  in this  place.

Spooky incident: Queen of Kota rescued the palace after Major Burton was killed by the army. Apparently, Queen of Kota spoke to the journalists that she have seen the ghost of dead Major Burton.

7. Jagatpura

This mysterious place is a residential area where people actually live with the witches. This is one of the most scary  places in Jaipur, Rajasthan. History says that the king of this  place in Rajasthan was greedy and arrogant. Many villagers accursed  him while dying of hunger. The spirits of those villagers ask for help from the tourists.

Spooky incident: The people living in this place  have seen witches walking around the roads of Jagatpura. These witches look like  same as in classic horror cinemas -white dress, old, grey hair hanging loosely over their  face.

8. Sudhabay

Sudha Bay, nearby Pushkar, is where sorcery take place. Although it is not a haunted place, an unimaginable amount of eerie and disturbing events occur on a day this year. This 300-year old beauty was once a summer resort for the Maharaja that stands abandoned in the lake, Known as one of the best places to visit in Rajasthan, Jal Mahal’s 5th floor indicates amazing architectural style and still attracts visitors who visit the palace from the edge of the lake. A report claims that  visitors are heard  different noises from this place.

Spooky incident: It is said that no one goes to this place after evening time , as people have heard strange sounds from this  palace.

10. Delhi Jaipur Highway

This Delhi-Jaipur Highway is one  of Rajasthan’s most haunted locations. Having  some of  scary stories to go along with it. This roadway is supposed to be possessed by the presence of a woman who was killed  here. Passengers who  travelling across the roadway late at night may become dizzy. Others have also reported seeing sightings and hearing cries, according to reports.

Spooky incident: Many have spotted  her wearing a red sari and bangles or hearing the strange  sound of the tinkling of anklets.
